Cornish Slab

Our take on traditional pasty.

Shortcrust pastry filled with slow cooked steak, potatoes, swede and carrot.



To warm up a slab, place it in a preheated oven (170°C or gas mark 4) for 15-20 minutes.

Estimate weight 5oz.

To this day all the pies are still handmade on the original premises in Shelf, Halifax, West Yorkshire and use the finest ingredients.

All pies have a minimum shelf life of 5 days and can be frozen for up to 3 months.

Although we try very hard not to have any nuts in our products (other than those stated) we cannot guarantee our products are nut free.

Our lard has rapeseed oil and sunflower oil in the ingredients.
