Traditional Pork Pie

Succulent traditional Pork Pie in hot water pastry, with jelly.

Pork and Stilton Pie

Pork pie with stilton mixed in for a delicious, creamy texture. Made in hot water pastry with jelly.

Pork and Black Pudding Pie

All time favourite. Traditional pork pie with meaty black pudding. Made in hot water pastry with jelly.

Steak and Ale Pie

Slow cooked chunky steak in gravy, mixed with our locally sourced ale in shortcrust pastry.

Steak and Stilton Pie

Slow cooked chunky steak in gravy with blue stilton crumb in shortcrust pastry.

 

 

 

To warm up a personalised pie, place it in a preheated oven (170°C or gas mark 4) for 20-25 minutes.

We are happy to add a printed message to your order. Just add it to ORDER NOTES AT CHECKOUT.

To this day all the pies are still handmade on the original premises in Shelf, Halifax, West Yorkshire and use the finest ingredients.

All pies have a minimum shelf life of 5 days and can be frozen for up to 3 months.

Although we try very hard not to have any nuts in our products (other than those stated) we cannot guarantee our products are nut free.

Our lard has rapeseed oil and sunflower oil in the ingredients.

Freezing, Reheating, Storage

Shelf life

Our pies are freshly baked and sent out the same day in polystyrenes boxes with dry ice to last for over 48 hours. Once they arrive they last 5-6 days in the fridge.

Freezing

All our pies freeze for up to 3 months.
Freeze them on the arrival day. Double wrap them in foil or freezing bag before placing in the freezer.

Defrosting

Defrost naturally. Over night in the fridge and consume within 4 days.

Reheating

Reheat your pies in the oven. Internal temperature needs to reach 75C/165F as measured by a food probe in several spots.
Reheating from frozen – we recommend to defrost your pies before reheating.
